Arctic Monkeys are an English indie rock band started in 2002 in a suburb of Sheffield.

The story tells of many aspects of love: love between younger man and older woman; love between older man and younger woman; love between just women; love between nearly pre-teen and over thirty cousins. The list goes on but the real problem is that the younger woman, the older woman and the just woman in the list is the same woman and the near pre-teen is her daughter by the older man who is the uncle of the over-thirty cousin who just happens to be the younger man mentioned at the start.

Telling the story of soul legend Etta James' turbulent life and features some of her most beloved songs including Tell Mama, Something's Got A Hold On Me, Sugar On The Floor, the heart rending I'd Rather Go Blind, her iconic signature song At Last and more. Vika puts her heart and soul into this unforgettable show and is joined on stage by some of Australia's finest and funkiest musicians. During a long and tumultuous career that saw her win six Grammy Awards and a star on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Etta James has influenced a vast array of artists from Diana Ross, Janis Joplin, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart and is acknowledged as inspiring the careers of a new generation of singers from Christina Aguilera, Joss Stone, Adele and the late Amy Winehouse. Sadly, Etta's frantic recording and touring schedule coincided with her ever-growing addiction problems and over time she not only sang the blues...she lived the blues. Mercifully, her passion for life and strength of character saw her conquer her demons and she continued to record and perform into her seventies. With respect, this is her story.

Musical melodrama set in Liverpool about twins separated at birth and the effects on their personalities as they grow up of 'nature' and 'nurture'. A poor family, already with kids, is blessed with twins, but they can't cope. The mother cleans at a 'posh' house where they are desperate to have kids but can't and a deal is struck which no-one must know about. Despite the efforts of the new family the boys paths cross time and time again as they grow and one becomes 'bad' while the other is 'good'. Eventually they clash with tragic consequences. The musical is un-usual in having a "narrator" who helps to move the plot along.

One of contemporary Irish music's best singer-songwriters.

With his new album Where I Come From released Nov 2013, Moore looks set to continue his reign as the king of Irish roots music, with a career - both as a solo musician and with Planxty and Moving Hearts - that has spanned over four decades. Broadway glamour and toe-tapping tunes in an all Gershwin extravaganza.

This modern world does not always seem the place for men of style and vigour. Men with a penchant for sentiment, romance and charm. Men who own tap shoes. Crooners follows the story of three British gentlemen who, by their very nature, exude the characteristics of a crooner; suave, self-assured, stylish. By the very same nature, it is not always obvious that these characteristics are adopted quite so well by the quintessentially British. Cue a splendiferous injection of British comedy, tongue firmly in cheek, and an outrageous injection of big band swing. Featuring the outstanding and uncompromising live, on stage musicianship of the nine-piece band The Mini Big Band, these Crooners feature songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Matt Monro, Nat King Cole and Bobby Darin. Expect some Lady is a Tramp, Come Fly With Me, L.O.V.E., When You're Smiling, Fly Me To The Moon, Beyond The Sea, Mac The Knife and many more.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, to a preacher family, D'Angelo showed musical talent as a small child; he began playing piano aged just five. He signed to EMI Records in 1991. In 1994, D'Angelo co-wrote and co-produced the anthem "U Will Know" which was the first track from the Jason's "Lyric" soundtrack. The following year, D'Angelo's debut, "Brown Sugar" was released to rave reviews. The much anticipated follow-up, "Voodoo", was released in 2000 and hit the No 1 spot on the American Billboard charts, as did the first single release, "Untitled".

When a theatre is 'dark' it means that it is closed. This may be temporary, e.g. between shows, or it may be semi-permanent, e.g. when it is closed for refurbishment (sometimes it is uncertain when this happens whether it will actually open again) and sometimes it means that the theatre is completely out to action, lost or gone!

Diamond explores LGBT history spanning the 60-year period from 1957 to 2017 through the personal biography of David Hoyle. Revisiting landmark events such as the Wolfenden Report, the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality, the repeal of Section 28 and the lives of prominent gay figures such as Alan Turing, and more recent LGBT political activists, Diamond offers moments of reflection and insights into this history and ongoing struggle for equality. "Acting is an emergency, and in an emergency you do whatever works. What you do in a fire drill may bear no resemblance to what you do in an actual fire, but your chances of survival are greatly improved by a past enactment of the drills" Deb Margolin. Award-winning multimedia theatre-makers Breach have previously explored re-enacting the past - from a 1985 clash between riot police and New Age travelers in The Beanfield, to a 1960's experiment into teaching dolphins English in Tank. In The Drill, the company investigates rehearsing for the future - through safety drills and emergency response training. Mashing up documentary film, devised theatre and audience interaction, The Drill takes a critical look at emergency preparedness scenarios to consider today's anxieties around security and terrorism.

As I sat, coming to the frightening realisation that the script I'd been writing for ten years no longer fit in a world that was spiralling out of control, my mother called to tell me the Duke of Wellington, a porcelain figure my father bought for £750 as an investment in 1974, had broken while dusting. It seemed there were three problems to be fixed - the script, the world and the porcelain figure. The Duke playfully mixes fantasy and reality, taking audiences on an imaginative and touching journey full of laughter.

Fat Blokes is a sort of dance show about flab, double chins and the men they are attached to - made by artist and fatso Scottee, coming to HOME for a run of trail-blazer performances before heading to Southbank Centre. Exploring what those who you'd rather not sit next to on the bus think about their own bodies. Fat Blokes uncovers why fat men are never sexy but always funny, always the 'before' and never the 'after' shot. Made in collaboration with Lea Anderson, Unskinny Bop and five fat blokes who've never done this sort of thing before. Prepare yourself for a show about pent-up aggression, riot grrrl, and the hokey cokey.

Sherlock Holmes lives in retirement on the South Coast. He keeps bees, occasionally casts his fly fishing rod even plays his Stradivarius when the rheumatism allows. All too aware that he's older and slower, he's concerned that he might have lost touch, paranoid that he is an easy target for his enemies: there have been so many over the years. He never truly believed Moriarty - his arch nemesis - died at the Reichenbach Falls. So when Mary Watson (wife of his former associate Dr John Watson) tracks hi down to tell him she has seen her long-dead son, James, through the window of 221B Baker Street, apparently alive and well, Holmes is determined to solve the mystery and confront his own demons at the same time.

This new, full length show blends stunning visuals with original music from the Oliver Award-winning and Grammy nominated Godfathers of alternative cabaret The Tiger Lillies. Set in a small dusty town in the lands between Mexico and the US, the singer relays the tale of his rise and fall and the songs of life at the border, where mythical creatures from Aztec times still haunt the night. This incredible production features the story of one of the greatest bands of our time, from their early triumphs to their devastating decline and on to their meteoric climb back to the top... to become the multi-million selling Bee Gees - the supergroup we know and love today. The Gibb Brothers were not only masters of the concert show, performers of generation-defining songs, they also came to represent one of the greatest songwriter collectives ever. However, their journey to the top was never an easy ride... Spanning the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties, You Win Again is gloriously set, the story unfolding against an intriguing backdrop of light and shade. The glittering, superstar songstresses who carried many of the biggest Gibb Brothers' penned songs to the top of the charts contrasted by the "dark external corruption" that blighted the three brothers' lives. This wonderful night of musical theatre features not only incredible portrayals of Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb - it is also a wonderful, all-live production that brings their superb songs to life. You Win Again - a brand-new musical telling the tale of the ultimate contradiction. It is the story of a family torn apart. A tale of brothers who came to learn the hard way that the whole is greater than the sum of its component parts, but who wrote truly beautiful songs that inspired a generation. Theirs is a story that needs to be told.
