Directed by Hampstead regular Anna Ledwich (Kiss Me), the piece is set in a tempestuous finance office where morality goes out of the window. When the play opened in New York in 2016 it starred Claire Danes and John Krasinski. Burgess makes her UK premiere with the production.
Atwell makes her Hampstead debut in the production, and has been nominated for two Olivier awards for her performances in A View from the Bridge (Duke of York's) and in The Pride (Trafalgar Studios).
Dry Powder runs at Hampstead Theatre from 1 February to 3 March with previews from now.
