The cast of Bat Out of Hell partied with stars in the West End last night for the opening night of the show's run at the Dominion.

The show returns to London following a run at the Coliseum and a tour until October 2017. Jim Steinman's musical, based on the music from the album of the same name, is directed by Jay Scheib and features classic songs such as "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth", "Bat Out Of Hell", "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" and "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad".

The story follows a group of teenagers whose DNA freezes at the age of 18 and who become outcasts in a dystopian world. A forbidden love affair begins between the head of the group, Stat, and Raven, the daughter of a rich businessman.

In her review of the show, WhatsOnstage critic Jane Kemp called it "a full throttle, high volume, spectacular rebirth of a musical masterpiece".
